Supporting the future of circus in Tāmaki Makaurau

The Dust Palace Charitable Trust supports the development of the circus industry in Aotearoa. Growing circus as an art form, and increasing accessibility to the benefits of circus.

Since 2009 The Dust Palace has been forerunning circus arts with a variety of activities from devising and touring circus theatre works, to delivering workshops in best practice around the country, to starting Aotearoa’s first kaupapa Māori circus school Te Kura Maninirau.

Ellerslie Arts presents an amazing opportunity for us to grow our support for circus arts in Tāmakiu Makaurau by providing space and time for practiitoners to develop work and for collaborations between circus arts and other art forms to emerge.
