TWO ISLANDS SYNOPSIS

We begin with the creation of two islands coming out of the sea. They become lush and full of food. Two refugee ships are upon the sea. One escaping war, one escaping their river being poisoned through mining. Each group takes an island. The people of Gray Island cover it with factories to make as many goods as they can. The people of Green Island stay in balance with nature. The people of Gray Island exhaust their resources. Eventually the youth of each island communicate. The elders of Gray Island plan to take the resources of Green Island by building an enormous bridge between them. Their youth escape to Green island just before the weight of the bridge pulls all the people and the land into the sea. A cautionary tale of the stories we tell our children, and what is important in life. Of greed and excess. Of balance and sustainability. Each group has their reasons for what they do, and suffers the consequences. On Gray Island there are two elders and a driven Governor, and three youthOn Green Island there are two elders, a quiet gardener and three youth.
